I remember a particularly difficult property that consisted of a 4.75 acre lot in Wolf Lodge with a house and a couple outbuildings on it. The problem the seller had encountered is that the county did not recognize this lot as legal (even though he had a mortgage on it) and even though it had a legal description. There had been a statute made that the lots in that area were supposed to be 5 acre or more in order to legally sell and be improved upon. So I went to work to secure an agreement with one of the neighbors to purchase the additional .25 of an acre from the back side of his lot and combine it with this sellers lot to make up the 5 acres that he needed. It was a difficult task with many hoops to jump through. If this had not been done the county had said they would not let another home to be constructed on the lot, nor would they allow the existing home to be added onto or replaced and so it limited the buyer pool significantly. Being able to secure additional acreage made it so this wonderful location and great corner lot was finally able to be sold for market value and the seller was able to move on to his future goals.
This story perfectly sums up the kind of advisor I work to be, and the type of advisor I continuously strives to be for my clients. I was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what I try to do. And I work hard for my clients.
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest having attended Central Valley High School in the Spokane Valley. After I graduated I moved to the Coeur d’Alene area and raised my own family in this lovely region. Over the past few years I have moved back to the Spokane Valley and because I have lived in both areas extensively it gives me a unique knowledge of this area of the country, watching both regions ebb and flow with growth through time.
My decision to enter real estate was an easy one, having invested in properties and flipping homes for years before becoming an advisor. I have found a real passion for the profession. I bring the same experience, knowledge and advocacy to all my clients having been practicing real estate for 17 years now. I have the experience and expertise to meet and exceed your expectations from start to finish.
I have the innate ability to understand and meet my client’s needs and I really pride myself in being viewed as a trusted advisor throughout the process of buying or selling a home. Being a natural negotiator, I am able to stay calm and focused through what can potentially be a complex and stressful time.
As my career has advanced, I have found my stride working with home buyer’s, having been an ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative)agent for many years. Recently, I have been branching into helping home sellers downsize their homes and have recently received the RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert) accreditation. Whether it’s empty nesters wanting a smaller home or helping in the process of managing an estate, I have found a real passion in guiding the transition through this often very emotional and exciting time.

I currently live in Spokane, WA with my mini-bernedoodle, Halley. In my free time, I enjoy time with my (adult) children, photography, boating, travelling, snow skiing, binge watching good TV/movies and just finding any reason to visit the ocean.
